Spring has come and gone but and I have been craving fresh herbs in my cooking! Spring is my favorite time of the year to try my hand at my black thumb and attempt some form of fresh produce. I decided a while back to get together some of my closest girlfriends to share the love of fresh herbs. I wanted to add fun and sweet little touches to make the afternoon even more personal. I started with my hunt for the perfect mini clay jar label that would be water resistant and adorable. Enter Kidecals!! Their labels are not only super cute and versatile but totally water-resistant! My kind of deal!
I froze fresh blueberries and added them to lemonade for a fun pop of color and added chill.
How sweet is the "PARTY" tray? It's just the perfect portion size for little nibbles.
Each of my girlfriends were given mini water cans as a thank you for joining me in the fun of the afternoon. The cans were adorned with my favorite and super simple recipe Caprese salad using their newly planted fresh basil. I adore the simple ease of these precious "From the Pantry of" labels to give them an extra personal touch.
I grabbed mini planting pots that are just the right size for a window sill and slipped on these great chalkboard labels so we could label our herbs in the most adorable way!

We are so hot on summer vacations at the moment and are trying to narrow down our game plan. We are rustling around with a road trip up the coast, a Disney vacay or a beach camping trip. I am notorious for coming up with fantastic family vacay ideas and then not researching enough to make for a perfectly seamless trip. One year, we were going to drive up the coast and make a ton of great planned stops. Capri was about one and half at that point and I figureded it would be totally fine since we had rented an obnoxiously large RV. We ended up driving for 10 hours straight because I hadn't made camp site reservations and we slept in an empty parking lot. It wasn't my best work. Since then, I've gotten more efficient! I am in for a beach camping trip and am working feverishly on finding the perfect place to meet our criteria. I jumped on Bing to help me on my hunt. My must have list is major…camp on the sand, bonfire option and beautiful surroundings. We are circling around Monterey, Santa Barbara or Orange County.
Using Bing new Rewards program, I am able to search all the options of our trip and earn spending points to all of my favorite places. I plan on buying all the snacks, entertainment and gear for the trip with my Bing Rewards points. Literally you get rewarded for searching! #winning!!!
To get on the awesome bandwagon, check into your iPhone IOS settings and switch your search engine to Bing. Then, create a Bing rewards account and you can get points (good for gift cards) for doing internet searches on your iphone too. Pop on Bing rewards for details, but if you do a lot on surfing on your phone, it’s worth signing up.

For all you parents out there, this is so funny! Still laughing!
Summer grilling is on the brain! I am obsessed with grilling everything right now and these veggie burritos look incredible!
I'm super excited about summer nights and concerts! I am doing a girl's night to see Rascal Flatts but also have the Move Tour and One Republic on my agenda as well.
We went to my daughter's ballet show this past weekend. I literally live for these events. Dance shows and school parties make my world go round. Seeing the gorgeous performances, made me miss my dance days. How amazing is this piece from a recent So You Think You Can Dance?! I'm pretty sure I stop breathing every time I watch it.
I'm off to a magical 4 days of Mexican getaway amazingness! Can't wait to hear what sort of summer agendas you have in mind.
With our sexy Mexico getaway on the horizon this weekend, I'm on the hunt for fabulous suits and the cutest coverups. In the past, I've needed to be pretty practical with my suit options. With the little ones being little, they pull and yank all over me when we are swimming. This trip is different being just my hubby and I! I get to reclaim what once was, the sexy swimsuit! Oh it's on!

So our baby girl turned 3 last week! Yep, not sure I like any part of it! People used to tell me all the time how time flies and to cherish the moments. Man, they were so right. Its such a hard lesson to embrace when we were raising Capri our eldest. Each day was closer to the next step and next phase which was so exciting. We rushed her not knowing it. I wish now, that I would have sat still and just enjoyed without trying to peek around the corner at what was next. With Peyton we are trying to do just that. I am trying to enjoy the present and just take in all that she is in the now. She is so different than her older sis and we are so obsessed with them both. Capri is fearless with a super soft underbelly that she rarely shows. She likes routine and cherishes the calm we find. I can read her really easily. Peyton is a different sort. She is harder for me to grasp. She gives everything away and then gives nothing. I can't predict her and envision what she will be like. I just know she will be incredible. She wears her love on her shoulder where Capri tucks hers away. Peyton freely gives hugs and kisses followed by love words and compliments. At any moment she will look over from her coloring and say she loves me or tell me that I look beautiful. She is heartwarming and special in every way. We decorated her room in the middle of the night on the eve of her birthday just like we have done for Capri over the years. We were so excited at what we thought was going to be the outcome of birthday excitement. I woke up early and waited to hear her rustling. Soon we couldn't take it any longer we had to get into her room to see how excited she was. She rustled up and took a look at the streamers and balloons and seemed bothered. Like she didn't want the attention or the fuss. She asked for me to take the balloons out. Something wasn't right to her. It was the funniest reaction to us. We are so used to Capri getting all giddy about the pomp and circumstance where Peyton just didn't like it all. She is simple and doesn't need anything beyond us to feel loved and happy. She doesn't need to big gesture. She is something special and we cherish her simple and calm spirit every day. I have no doubt she is going to be dynamic. I see it now already in her little ways. I can't baby girl to be still with you through the years and see you change and evolve into the woman you are meant to be. I promise not to rush you.

My girls have been talking about making a bird feeder for our yard ever since we did a little bid watching one afternoon. This adorable homemade feeder I think is the perfect project.
How stoked was this wife when her husband reacted like this after surgery?
What are you reading these days? I'm picking up #GirlBoss and a good smut read called Beautiful Bastard on recommendation from a friend.
Our weather has been so beautiful and I've been so ready for outdoor dining and firing up the BBQ. I'm such a filet mignon lover but loved this easy and simple breakdown of all the different cuts of meat to help demystify my next butcher run.

I have to admit, I'm totally stoked for the big 30! I am married to my handsome hubby with two gorgeous girls and life couldn't get better. 30 looks good for me and I'm ready to tackle my years starting in 3. My birthday is in July but my hubby and I are taking a little early birthday wiskaway to celebrate my birthday sans kids. We try and do this at least once a year to get back to " just us" and enjoy our time together. In three weeks we are off to the incredible Imata resort in Punta Mita. I'm over the top giddy! I wanted a sexy and adult vacay that merited a celebration. Of course I turned to honeymoon and travel extrodinairre Katie of Ever After Honeymoons. Katie didn't disappoint and sent me the most amazing options. We couldn't be more excited for our upcoming trip and I will make sure to share all the gorgeousness !
We are nestled right in the jungle of Punta Mita. The rooftop bar pretty much sold us. We love catching an early evening drink together and this seemed like the most perfect setting for a romantic drink rooftop style before dinner.
Now let's talk private plunge pool in our suite. Amazing! I am planning on a full agenda of good book, margarita and comfy bed all trip long!
To say we are excited is an understatement! In the next couple weeks, I will share my plans for looking fabulous on this amazing trip!
