This sunny tray by Rebecca Allen for Deny Designs caught my eye right away and I knew I loved it immediately! Not only did it bring a ray of sunshine to my home but I found it beyond versatile! Deny Designs gorgeous products are so fun and I love that they support local artists or create your own custom designs . How cool is that?! Custom piece for your home! I'm in! I having been using this tray like mad and I wanted to share how amazingly versatile it has become in my own home. 1. Entryway spruce
I added my Deny tray to my entry way table for pop of color. I also think this would be cool hung on a wall for splash or fun.
2. Hostess with the mostess
I recently used this gorgeous tray at a backyard fiesta to serve up mocktails. It is the perfect accessory for any fabulous hostess.
3. Coffee Table
I adored garnishing up this gorgeous tray with fresh roses from our mutant rose bushes, conch shell from our travels, the best smelling Voluspa candles and my favorite eye candy in coffee table books.
We had so much fun putting together this fiesta for Cinco de Mayo featured last week on Inspired by This! The girls love any chance to celebrate anything! They were my helpers as we made our churros, chilled our mocktails and garnished our guacamole. My hubby threw some steaks on the bbq and we enjoyed our snacks before dinner. We wish you a safe and fun filled Cinco de Mayo!

I'm very on the fence with the ear cuff trend… I think they can be fun and edgy but not sure if I'm cool enough to rock it. How gorgeous is this DIY ear cuff. After seeing this I just may be on board.
I am always on the hunt for an artist that is a bit nautical, a little retro and keeps my interest. In the last couple years I kept coming across Gray Malin's work but never connected the dots that all of these incredible pieces were his. I love all his work but always gravitate to his beach scenes. My new obsession is to have one of his pieces in my home so I can fester on it daily! Something about his work makes me so happy as art should.
We have been patiently waiting to visit our favorite you pick blueberry farm and it opens this month! Can't wait to try my hand at this amazing Blueberry Mojito recipe.
I'm dreaming of dutch doors and summer breezes.
What are all you pretties festering on this week?
I saw the new movie "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz last night with some girlfriends. I can't say the movie was my all time favorite but the fashion was major! I couldn't get over how amazing Cameron's wardrobe was. So sleek and polished! I of course came home and poured over stills from the movie for a better look! Here are a couple of my favorite looks!

I'm working on mixing up my workouts and get motivated for bikini season! I've never been motivated to become a runner and basically hate it all together but decided to give it a good effort. But where to start so I'm not dry heaving on the side of the street after 30 seconds? This great running schedule seems super doable and a easy place to start.

I came across this gorgeous porch with perfect swing and couldn't help but think of tea and summer. It's heating up here in Cali and I've been hankering for sun tea. My mom used to make batches of it with Nestea in the summer time when I was growing up and I wanted to make my own with some fun variations!
I found this great and super easy recipe on Free People Blog and can't wait to give it a whirl!
You will need:
A glass jar with a lid (I used 24-oz. mason jars) Lemons Tea of your choice Fresh mint Distilled water
recipe and image via
What to do:
1. Sterilize your jar by washing thoroughly with soap and water. Making sun tea provides an ideal situation for bacteria growth, so this step is very important!
2. Cut a lemon into slices. Add a few lemon slices and some mint to your jar.
3. Add some tea bags to your jar, and fill to the top with distilled water. I made three types of tea: three mint, chamomile, and jasmine green tea. When it comes to the amount of tea bags, it’s better to use more than less. You can always water your tea down later if it’s too strong. I used 3 tea bags for each 24-oz. jar, and I felt that I could have definitely used another!
4. Set your jar outside in direct sunlight for at least 2 hours. The higher the temperature and brighter the sun, the faster your tea will be done.
5. Check your jar after a few hours. The darker the color, the stronger the tea will be. I left mine out in about 70-degree weather for about 5 hours, and the tea was the perfect strength for me
I want to try variations like, raspberry/ orange or blackberry. So refreshing!!! What variation would you try?
