With our Mexico trip on the horizon, I've been cleaning up my diet big time and if you follow along on my Instagram you may have noticed green smoothies making lots of appearances.  Not a coincidence that a slim down and Candice Kumai's Clean Green Drinks book came out around the same time.  I am a long time fan of Candice's and this new book of hers is amazing! I'm whipping up gorgeous and delish smoothies every morning and seem to even have ditched my morning coffee for a refreshing sweet treat.  I have to many favorites and keep them all in rotation but tomorrow I will be blending up the "Peaches and Green Protein" smoothie.  Pick up your copy of Clean Green Drinks now to share in my obsession and get bikini ready! clean drinks

party hat I am working on Peyton's 3rd birthday party and can't deal with these sweet these floral party hats would be on little heads.

My girls have been talking about making a bird feeder for our yard ever since we did a little bid watching one afternoon.  This adorable homemade feeder I think is the perfect project.

How stoked was this wife when her husband reacted like this after surgery?

What are you reading these days?  I'm picking up #GirlBoss and a good smut read called Beautiful Bastard on recommendation from a friend.

Our weather has been so beautiful and I've been so ready for outdoor dining and firing up the BBQ.  I'm such a filet mignon lover but loved this easy and simple breakdown of all the different cuts of meat to help demystify my next butcher run.

Big 30: Imata, Punta Mita

TravelLorely Meza3 Comments

I have to admit, I'm totally stoked for the big 30! I am married to my handsome hubby with two gorgeous girls and life couldn't get better.  30 looks good for me and I'm ready to tackle my years starting in 3.   My birthday is in July but my hubby and I are taking a little early birthday wiskaway to celebrate my birthday sans kids.  We try and do this at least once a year to get back to " just us" and enjoy our time together.  In three weeks we are off to the incredible Imata resort in Punta Mita. I'm over the top giddy!  I wanted  a sexy and adult vacay that merited a celebration. Of course I turned to honeymoon and travel extrodinairre Katie  of Ever After Honeymoons.  Katie didn't disappoint and sent me the most amazing options.  We couldn't be more excited for our upcoming trip and I will make sure to share all the gorgeousness ! imata 1

We are nestled right in the jungle of Punta Mita.  The rooftop bar pretty much sold us.  We love catching an early evening drink together and this seemed like the most perfect setting for a romantic drink rooftop style before dinner.

Now let's talk private plunge pool in our suite.  Amazing!  I am planning on a full agenda of good book, margarita and comfy bed all trip long!

To say we are excited is an understatement! In the next couple weeks, I will share my plans for looking fabulous on this amazing trip!

I am loving graphic tees right now and find they are the perfect casual additional to jean shorts for the beach or paired with a blazer to dress down a look.  I also love them tucked into pencil skirts like Sandra Bullock has done here for a playful twist.  sandra bullock graphic tee

One tray 3 ways

Home, UncategorizedLorely Meza1 Comment

This sunny tray by Rebecca Allen for Deny Designs caught my eye right away and I knew I loved it immediately! Not only did it bring a ray of sunshine to my home but I found it beyond versatile!  Deny Designs gorgeous products are so fun and I love that they support local artists or create your own custom designs .   How cool is that?!  Custom piece for your home! I'm in! I having been using this tray like mad and I wanted to share how amazingly versatile it has become in my own home. 1. Entryway spruce

I added my Deny tray to my entry way table for pop of color. I also think this would be cool hung on a wall for splash or fun.

2. Hostess with the mostess

I recently used this gorgeous tray at a backyard fiesta to serve up mocktails.  It is the perfect accessory for any fabulous hostess.

We had so much fun putting together this fiesta for Cinco de Mayo featured last week on Inspired by This!  The girls love any chance to celebrate anything!  They were my helpers as we made our churros, chilled our mocktails and garnished our guacamole.  My hubby threw some steaks on the bbq and we enjoyed our snacks before dinner.  We wish you a safe and fun filled Cinco de Mayo! cinco collage

I'm very on the fence with the ear cuff trend… I think they can be fun and edgy but not sure if I'm cool enough to rock it. How gorgeous is this DIY ear cuff. After seeing this I just may be on board.

I am always on the hunt for an artist that is a bit nautical, a little retro and keeps my interest.  In the last couple years I kept coming across Gray Malin's work but never connected the dots that all of these incredible pieces were his.  I love all his work but always gravitate to his beach scenes. My new obsession is to have one of his pieces in my home so I can fester on it daily!  Something about his work makes me so happy as art should.

We have been patiently waiting to visit our favorite you pick blueberry farm and it opens this month!  Can't wait to try my hand at this amazing Blueberry Mojito recipe.

I'm dreaming of dutch doors and summer breezes.

What are all you pretties festering on this week?

I saw the new movie "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz last night with some girlfriends.  I can't say the movie was my all time favorite but the fashion was major!  I couldn't get over how amazing Cameron's wardrobe was.  So sleek and polished!  I of course came home and poured over stills from the movie for a better look! Here are a couple of my favorite looks! the other woman [show_shopthepost_widget id="25652"]
