Everyday dress

Every girl needs the perfect "everyday dress".  You know the one. The dress that you slip on when you need to look put together but really you are bloated.  The casual but cute date night dress that you can throw heels on with.  The easy shift dress that you can run around town in while doing errands.  This sweet little belted shift dress is that for me.  Cute belted but also can be let loose when you need a little more wiggle room. Perfect!

New life

I have had what feels like 20 friends have babies this past couple weeks, not to mention the debut of our newest nephew.  There is something so incredible about the new life of a baby.  The way they recognize their mommy's voice right away. The way they adapt to the world within seconds of their arrival is just amazing. I marvel at how the woman's body was designed to create such perfect little angels.  How the features of the baby grow and develop into little people.  Such a miracle.

Bucket List

We rounding out the school year for our little ones and I am eagerly planning our summer "bucket list" .  We have our typical beach days, blueberry picking, slip n slide days all planned but are working on something that we have never done before.  Beach camping?  Over seas trip?  I am so excited to have the girls getting to the age where we can really start adventuring.

Happy Place

As I get older I am paying close attention to what makes my heart the happiest and what my true passions are.  What the things that I would choose to do if I had a free day .  What are the things that I do to decompress.  It's interesting to me that I have very little clue what those things are.  I know the things I enjoy but are they really the stress free choices I'm after.  With almost one year into my 30's I am on a mission to try new things in search of that go to list of happy, completely stress free things.

Memorial day SALES

Today kicks off summer and has gotten me dreaming of our summer plans.  I can't wait to have the girls home and we spend our days frolicking on the beach, riding bikes, soaking up the rays on boat cruises and grilling up yummy treats.

Naturally I plan my summer wardrobe like I plan our summer days.  Memorial day sales are the best way to refresh your closet with light summer layers.  I love all white for summer and basically live in navy blue.
