I am a total sucker for navy and tan and of course that love affair seeps into my work wear. What I love about this ensemble is that by belting the dress you have a new chic , structured feel. Adding a strong work tote and leather sandals you have an appropriate hot weather work look. I won't buy a piece a won't wear multiple ways. This dress is great as a beach coverup or again belted with some summer flats and sun hat.

Today kicks off summer and has gotten me dreaming of our summer plans. I can't wait to have the girls home and we spend our days frolicking on the beach, riding bikes, soaking up the rays on boat cruises and grilling up yummy treats.
Naturally I plan my summer wardrobe like I plan our summer days. Memorial day sales are the best way to refresh your closet with light summer layers. I love all white for summer and basically live in navy blue.

In the spirit of Mother's Day I am so excited to share my sweet sister in laws baby shower. We can't wait to welcome baby Wesley in a couple weeks! I am an aunt to both my niece and nephew on my husband's side but I am so eager to meet my baby brother's son!
We noshed on the most decadent, fluffy Belgain waffles prepared at our interactive waffle bar from 24 Carrots. Talk about endless waffle toppings! A colorful mimosa bar made for the perfect libations. My littlest lady won baby Bingo via my mother in law and was giddy to find the prize being the yummiest B. Toffee. Capri and Peyton wanted to give Wesley something special from just them. The nursery is " Under the Sea" themed with bright orange and light blues. We made sweet " hand fishies" for his room and the girls were beyond excited to share their goodies with Brittany.
The gorgeous mama and sweet babe got spoiled rotten and we can't wait to see him in his sweet outfits.

It's been warm enough to eat outside here in So Cal and this mama has been craving tacos! We decided to invite some friends over for a little Taco Tuesday and to add to the fun I made the table extra festive.
I whipped up my favorite Pine Nut and Mango guacamole and threw together an easy Sangria to sip on. 
Add lots of bougainvillea to your table for a pop of color and throw some limes and oranges on the table to complete your centerpiece.
