Donna Morgan NYC

I love, love ,love the holidays and adore the exuse to dress up on any occasion!  When invited to a winter fashion show at The Ritz, I knew this Donna Morgan NYC stunner was my number one pick.  Classic black and white are always perfect and the subtle sparkle on the shoulders sold me instantly.  Paired with black tights and booties, I felt it was cool yet classic all at once.

Holiday outfits for the little ones

If you are anything like me, you like a holiday outfit game plan! Something about having a laid out plan of attack on the dress front makes me a little less frantic. Polar Express movie night

We kicked off December right with a perfect movie night featuring The Polar Express.  This is such a sweet movie and the girls love it!  I tried to incorporate as much from the movie as I could remember and it was a hit!  The girls were surprised with cozy plaid pj's , fresh baked cookies, popcorn and their very own "Believe" tickets just like in the movie.  One of my favorite symbols of the movie was the bell.  I made sure to add plenty of gold bells to my spread.

Plaid and Cashmere

I felt like I was officially a "big girl" when I got my first piece of cashmere.  It's buttery softness was all the graduation I needed. At first I would hoard it in my closet and only bring out for special occasions but now I am trying to make every day a bit more luxurious and sporting my lovely cashmere cardigan while I shop for Christmas presents, run errands, make it in the nick of time for soccer practice and race to ballet.  It makes the hustle bustle feel a little more easy. Fall outfit inspiration

My hubby gave me a Movado for Christmas a couple years back and it's one of my most favorite pieces of jewelry.  This year I want to return the love and gift him a gorgeous watch. I always lean towards two toned options so that you can wear the piece with anything.  My dirty little  secret to picking out his watch is that I will most likely borrow it from time to time.  I love an oversized watch and mens wear is so on trend that it's a twofer.  Invaluable has the most gorgeous watches ranging from Movado to Rolex!  I may even get him ( us) a Rolex.
